During the school year, I rarely stop to have lunch, but I'm on extended contract time now, so today I met my husband in Ely for a quick meal at a little sandwich shop. Of all the times I've been in downtown Ely, I had never stopped in to visit the local public library and today I corrected that.

What a cute, attractive and welcoming town library! I loved their simple, clean signage and the contemporary style dining set with a jigsaw puzzle ready to be played. There was a a children's reading area disguised as a miniature fire station and even a self-serve Keurig coffee station.
